Michael Merriam, former Oklahoma resident, will read and sign books at two events in his home state. Copies of Merriam’s books will be available for purchase at the events.

An author of fantasy and science fiction, Merriam now lives in Minneapolis, MN. His novel, Last Car to Annwn Station, was called “a strong novel” and “a must read if you enjoy mythology, faerie, and fantasy,” on Blog Talk Radio. His novella, Should We Drown in Feathered Sleep, was long-listed for the Nebula Award in 2011, and Merriam received an Honorable Mention in The Year’s Best Fantasy and Horror 2008. He has published a short story collection, two novellas, over 80 pieces of short fiction and poetry, and he has edited two anthologies.

Merriam co-organizes the Minnesota Speculative Fiction Writers, and he is a member of the NorthStar Storytelling League, the Outer Alliance, the Science Fiction Poetry Association, and the Steampunk Artists and Writers Guild. His website can be found at www.michaelmerriam.net.
